The SEMA Super Show held in early November in Las Vegas, NV usually showcases vehicles that are straight trailer queens to full out race cars. This year, Subaru is featuring the Subaru Legacy wagon with the 2.5 Turbo. Our friends at DrivingSports magazine did this great feature on this beautiful one-of-a-kind ride.

Since the Legacy Wagon doesn’t come with a turbo power plant option, they swapped in from the Legacy GT Sedan mated with the famous (and beefy) 6 Speed Transmission. According to Drivingsports Magazine, with a simple bolt ons with an exhaust and reflash, they were able to put out a respectable 300hp with 350 ft/lbs of torque. Quite the fast wagon.

As you can see under the hood, it’s fairly stock with a SPT Front strut tower bar. Of course, they want to feature the Subaru optional parts so you can see bits and pieces of it throughout the engine bay.

The Legacy’s stance is helped by a set of 19 inch HRE Wheels and BF Goodrich tires. Behind those impressive HRE Wheels are a set of Brembo Big Brakes off of an STi. Its lowered on STi Pink Springs and Bilstein struts. A perfect combination on this impressive machine.

Recaro seats are bolted up to the front re-wrapped with suede and topped off with a custom GTK stitching. Beautiful. Want to read more about this Leggy? Make your way to Drivingsports Magazine’s article on this with additional images!

I’ve fallen in love with the “Get More G’s” campaign that features Subaru poster boys Travis Pastrana and Dave Mirra. Well, the Aussies have their campaign for the new WRX, “All 4 the Driver”.

So which one do you guys like better?

We are gearing up to be a featured supporter for SubieFest and we will be there in full force with our spokes model, Michelle signing her new Subie-Life.com posters! Here’s what our banner and our flyers will look like!

Don’t forget to come by our booth and say hi to Michelle, get your  free poster and pick up a flyer! Thank you all for your support!

While watching this new video from the never ending saga of Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3, I saw that they’re including the 2011 STi sedan in it! Yep, it made the cut which I am totally excited for! Although it’s on screen for less than 5 seconds, you can rest assured that one of our favorite vehicle models of this year will be on this game! Check it out!

We are sad to report that James “Jimmy” Girvan was killed during the Colin McRae Forest Stage in Scotland. According to Autoblog, Girvan was killed when his Subaru struck a few boulders and then was thrown into some trees. Girvan’s co driver suffered minor injuries but had to be cut out of the Rally Car. Girvan, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The event had to be shut down due to his death which celebrated the life of Colin McRae that passed away several years ago in a tragic helicopter crash. This is a strong reminder that motorsports is quite dangerous and when you are out competing there is that small chance that these things could happen. Please play safe everyone. Subie-Life would like to extend our condolences to his family and those who have been effected by this tragedy.

Here’s a cool little clip of Cam Benner, Driver of the Street Class Cobb Tuning STi talking about his experience at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch Round 8.

So, we’ve been playing around with some designs for shirts since this blog has been catching a lot of momentum lately. We never expected this blog to grow as it has thanks to the support of our readers! This blog has been a labor of love but now, we’re taking it to a whole new level of life!

Here’s the first design named “Rally” and it’s more of a contemporary design from Subie-Life.com!

Here’s what we called “Code” featuring chassis codes of various Subarus for both Men and Women. Can you identify these chassis codes?

This one here is what we like to call “Flat Life” featuring a flat 4 motor.

Finally for the ladies, is the “Flat Chest” shirt. We giggled about it but when we showed it to our female Subaru fans, they all giggled. They said they would all wear it so we’re going to make it! Oh and if you are wonder what “Battle Ready” is, it’s a clothing brand that Yukio has been playing around with and he may design more Battle Ready designs. All of these will be available soon at events and on our developing online stores! Thank you all for the support!

Here’s a cute little Legacy commercial that will give you a smile.

We thought long and hard… (get your minds out of the gutter) about how we should attract more and more people to our blog. It didn’t take much time for me to figure it out! We needed to add a bit of “spice” to our blog. Being that we will begin to do events and start creating promotional material, I wanted to have a spokes model to represent Subie-Life! It helps that someone whom is personally very close to me is a beautiful model and a professional in her craft was willing to represent Subie-Life! In addition, she’s a die hard motorsports fan, Subie lover, and drives a Subaru. So, without further delay, I’d like to introduce Michelle Farias!

Not only will she be representing Subie-Life at events and such, she’ll be posting on this blog about her own Subie-Life and the experiences that she has! This is truly exciting and we are proud to have her on board. Additionally, you will be able to see her in a few of our upcoming shirts, promotional items, and posters! You guys stoked? Well, because we are. Welcome Michelle, to Subie-Life!
